Having just read this article I am pleased to report that the Texas Medical Board, on April 13, 2012, adopted a rule that effectively legalizes stem cell research in Texas, just as I had advocated in my post of January 30, 2012, “No Ill Motives.”  Don’t know whether my letter to the Chronicle helped in any way, but am delighted with the outcome.
